Director Bala's ‘Paradesi’ nominated in eight categories at London International Filmmakers Film Festival.
‘Paradesi’ which was based on Dr PH Daniel's periodical Novel 'RED TEA' won rave reviews and was critically acclaimed in India and was well received all over the world.
According to a press release from director Bala's publicist, the film has been nominated in eight categories at the London international Filmmakers Film Festival. This is the first Tamil film to earn that honour. Films from America, Russia, Lebanon, South Korea, Chili and all over Europe were part of the festival.
Bala has been nominated in four categories for the Best Film, Best Director, Best foreign film and Best Director for a foreign film, with Atharva Murali for the Best Actor Male, Chezhian for Cinematography, GV Prakash for the Best0 Music and National award winner Poornima Ramaswamy for Costumes.
